1 cauliflower head
3-5tbs avocado oil ( or your favorite)
Spices : smoked paprika, cumin, salt & pepper
Raw tahini paste ( optional for drizzle)
HOW TO CUT CAULIFLOWER STEAKS
Cut off the inedible leaves.
Trim off the bottom of the cauliflower stem but make sure to keep the core intact.
Cut right through the middle of the cauliflower head, this keeps the florets together.
Cut thick slices, about 1 1/2-inch thick to have a heartier bite and stay intact in high heat.
preheat oven to 425f
Sprinkle spices and massage the avocado oil with spices, To prep, each steak gets drizzled with olive oil, which helps prevent the vegetable from sticking to the baking sheet. It also helps to create a more golden and crisp surface.
When the cauliflower steak is ready and seasoned and the oven is ready and hot, roast 10-15 minutes each side of the cauliflower steak. Or until golden
I love adding lemon zest before serving
