Rice paper burekas, vegan & gluten free
Rice paper burekas:
All my burekas lover’s, This recipe is for you.
Healthier version you can enjoy at any day of the week :)
Ingredients: ( for approximately 10 burekas)
Rice paper ( I get the mini ones from amazon)
1 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 cup broccoli florets
1/2 cup chopped green herbs ( I used scallions & parsley, optional but delicious).
2 tbs pesto tahini
1 tbs spicy tahini
1/2 lemon
Pinch of salt
Sesame seeds for garnish ( optional)
Instructions:
- In a medium mixing bowl combine all veggies , pesto tahini , spicy tahini , lemon & salt , mix well
- Add water Into a round dish to dip your rice paper before filling
- Dip rice paper in water for 10 seconds each side
- Time to fill it up with your delicious veggies mixture, about 1-2 tbs in the center
- Fold the top into a triangle shape, and than fold the bottom
- Brush with olive oil and add sesame on top
- Place all burekas on parchment paper and bake for 5-7 min or till it’s getting golden and crunchy, enjoy
