Hummus & fava beans
Homemade lazy hummus with fava beans:
🔷Lazy sexy homemade hummus:
Ingredients:
2 ( 15oz ) cans organic chickpeas
2 garlic gloves
1/4 tbs olive oil
6tbs tahini
6tbs fresh lemon juice only
Sprinkle to taste: cumin, salt & white pepper
Instructions:

Place chickpeas and one garlic clove in a medium pot and cover with water by 1". Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, undisturbed, until chickpeas start falling apart, about 20 minutes. Reserve 1 cup cooking liquid, then drain chickpeas.

Transfer chickpeas to a food processor. Add garlic, lemon juice, tahini, salt, and 2 Tbsp. reserved cooking liquid and process for about 5 minutes until creamy and smooth. If at any point the hummus appears dry or very thick, add lemon juice / water / olive oil to adjust the consistency and process just until combined. Transfer to a medium bowl and drizzle with more olive oil .
🔶fava beans:
Ingredients:
3 cups of favs beans ( from the can )
Dressing ingredients:

1-2 garlic clove (chopped)

1 bunch parsley (chopped)

1 lemon ( juice only )
-
2tsp cumin
-
Salt to taste
Instructions:

Steam fava beans in warm water for few minutes and remove from water

Combine all dressing ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and stir well, taste and adjust if needed ( lemon, cumin salt etc )

Add fava beans on top of the hummus
Notes :

you can add hard boiled egg or keep it vegan

You can also make/ eat hummus and fava beans separately, enjoy.
