apple pie

Apple pie tart tatin style :
1 apple ( medium size )
1 cup almond flour
1/2 + 1tbs cup raw Silan tahini ( or Pb tahini or whole ) 
1/3 + 1tbs cup Silan ( or honey ) 
1/3 cup nut milk
Sprinkle of Cinnamon
Preheat oven to 375f
  • slice your apples and place them in your apple pie dish ( make sure you spray it with coconut oil to prevent sticking

  • Drizzle on top of the apples 1 tbs tahini 1 tbs honey, sprinkle of cinnamon
  • In small mixing bowl mix the almond flour, tahini & nut milk & egg, you’ll get thick batter
  • Cover the apples with your batter and bake it for 12-15 minutes

  • It’s hard to serve nicely bc it’s upside down , so no worries if it’s messy , it’s still delicious!  I topped it up with halva or ice cream for extra sweet & pretty presentation, happy holidays & sweet year 💚
