Rice paper burekas:

Healthier version you can enjoy at any day of the week :)


Ingredients: ( for approximately 10 burekas)


Rice paper ( I get the mini ones from amazon)

1 cup shredded cabbage

1/2 cup broccoli florets

1/2 cup chopped green herbs ( I used scallions & parsley, optional but delicious).

2 tbs pesto tahini

1 tbs spicy tahini

1/2 lemon

Pinch of salt

Sesame seeds for garnish ( optional)



  1. In a medium mixing bowl combine all veggies , pesto tahini , spicy tahini , lemon & salt , mix well
  2. Add water Into a round dish to dip your rice paper before filling
  3. Dip rice paper in water for 10 seconds each side
  4. Time to fill it up with your delicious veggies mixture, about 1-2 tbs in the center
  5. Fold the top into a triangle shape, and than fold the bottom
  6. Brush with olive oil and add sesame on top
  7. Place all burekas on parchment paper and bake for 5-7 min or till it’s getting golden and crunchy, enjoy
