Silan cookies, gluten free & vegan


Silan cookies:
2 cups almond flour
1 cup Silan tahini ( you can use whole sesame or peanut butter tahini or chocolate)
1 tablespoon olive / coconut oil
1/2 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons of Silan syrup

  • preheat oven to 350F
  • In a medium mixing bowl : mix almond flour with baking powder
  • Add tahini &  oil , mix well using your hands and you should get  a medium size ball
  • Cut a large piece of parchment paper and spray it with oil all over to prevent sticking
  • Place your ball ( dough) in 1/2 side of the paper and flip the one on top of your ball
  • Gently roll it with A pin-roller into a square shape ( it’s not going to be perfect but it’s fine and will be delicious)
  • Time to drizzle the Silan on your dough and spread it all over with a spoon
  • Use the parchment paper and gently roll it into a roulade cake shape and slice  it into cookies, you can taste it at anytime ! So delicious!
  • Place on a new parchment paper and into the oven for 5-7 minutes, should be tan golden, don’t over bake it & most important, let it cool down completely, enjoy
